Our dragons are here to help! If you ever get a Dragon Shield product – sleeves or others – that doesn’t live up to our high standards, just
let us know and our dragons will help you out!

We recommend that you always stick to one box of sleeves per deck. Our dragons’ expert craftmanship ensures that sleeves in the same box will be uniform. However, the nature of plastic and the specifics of how sleeves are made mean that boxes from different batches may have slight variations in cut or feel. This goes for all sleeves, not just those forged by our dragons.

While these variations are usually too small to notice in a casual setting, we still recommend that you don’t mix and match sleeves from different boxes on the same deck – especially for competitive play.

Our dragons work tirelessly everyday to ensure that our sleeves are as tough as dragonly possible and live up to our high standards. However, even sleeves forged by dragons will split once in a while. Even a perfectly good box may have one or two unlucky splits. We always try to include a few extra sleeves in every box, so you’re covered if this happens.

However, if you experience more splits than this or if a split takes you below the promised 100/60 sleeves, our dragons are only a roar away!

Don’t worry, a slight curl is completely natural and won’t be noticeable as soon as you put cards in the sleeves. It’s completely safe for your cards, as the sleeves will conform to the card, not the other way around.

However, on rare occasions the curl is not uniform – what we call warp – looking something like this:

A stretch test rarely gives all the answers, so even if your sleeves didn’t do well in a stretch test, they are likely just as tough as any Dragon Shield sleeves. If you experience repeated splits during gameplay, just reach out to our dragons and they will help you out.

Bent corners usually come when switching sleeves. Sleeves that have been broken in over many games have a slightly higher friction level than new sleeves, so most players will naturally adjust and shuffle them with slightly more force.

When switching to brand new sleeves with a lower friction level, that added force can cause bent corners. So if you want to avoid them, take care to shuffle your deck a bit more gently until it’s properly broken in.

Our Art Sleeves are just as strong as our colored sleeves (they are literally the same sleeve, with artwork printed on it). They are also 100% peel-free! Our dragons’ special single-layer technique for forging Art Sleeves makes peeling impossible.

And yes, the Sleeve Crafter uses the exact same forging techniques as our regular Art Sleeves, so they have the exact same high quality.

As part of the spells to protect the artwork, our Art Sleeves are given a protective coating, that may give off a scent. This is completely normal and safe for you and your cards and the scent will lessen over time and with use.

As a sidenote many players report that the scent reminds them of maple syrup, meaning that a possible side-effect is a noticeable craving for pancakes when you smell your sleeves.

Sadly, the "D" does not stand for Dragon Shield. But it may stand for Definitely. As in, your customized sleeves are definitely going to be identical to each other. In order to ensure tournament-level sleeves with complete precision, our printers use the symbol to create the most top-notch sleeves for you.

All our Art sleeves feature a printing-precision mark, carefully designed by our sneaky dragons to be difficult to spot to the mortal eye. And the keen observer might already have recognized it as something else; it's actually in the shape of a tiny Dragon Shield logo!
